A wealth or features have been included in Nokia's new X6 Smartphone. It has a capacitive 3.2 inch touch screen and a whopping 32GB internal memory, a 5 mega pixel digital camera with Carl Zeiss optics is in place for snap happy users, the phone has great entertainment features and has social network integration. The handset looks good with its rectangle design and feels professional when handling it and it comes in a few colour variants for a broader market appeal.
The X6 runs the functional Symbian OS v9.4 and utilises the S60 5th edition user interface which supplies the TUI with added accuracy when issuing finger commands and the touch sensitive buttons are logically sized for your fingertips to prevent accidental button pressing or missing buttons all together. The device runs quite quickly through its applications and screens as to command it, but the fact that the screen is capacitive and not resistive will play a part also. The TUI brings with it a double tap zoom system which is rather handy for use in the web browser and when viewing images and another nice feature, the X6 will give you a little feedback when you successfully perform a function.
The full collection of Ovi services have been included in to the X6's software, including the online app store called Ovi store which doesn't have the biggest range but iexplorer crack are a few worthy additions to your X6, this collection also includes the Ovi Maps an Ovi music store, the music store however is a little redundant as this model as the ComesWithMusic feature which gives you unlimited downloads from a choice of millions of different tracks. So entertainment has been pretty well considered by Nokia, the Nseries music player does a fine enough job organising your tracks and playing them back, covering a range of music file formats and podcasting is also supported, the sound clarity is first-rate in high and mid frequencies and there is a good thump in the base, the sound quality is maintained through the 3D effect stereo speakers when you aren't using the 3.5mm jack and you can also keep with your favourite radio shows and news with the in-built FM radio.
The X6 supports a 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus, 4x digital zoom and a duel LED flash and it shows off some glitzy Carl Zeiss optics which gives a nice glisten to your images, the video recorder is very capable too with up to 15fps and the player is even better as playback can reach up 30fps in loads of different file formats including mpeg4 and wmv9 they can be played either landscape or portrait mode in nHD quality. There is good coverage over web network connections with HSDPA and Wi Fi, the Wi Fi works best when close to a wireless hotspot and the HSDPA connection will cover the rest, the X6 also supports class 32 EDGE/GPRS for descent data transfer speeds and there is good local too with Bluetooth and PC synchronization. The Nokia X6 offers good messaging services with e-mail compatibility which is supported by the touch sensitive QWERTY keypad accessed when the phone is flipped to landscape mode. Social networking has been included in the package too with the dedicated Contacts Bar which allows you to keep up to date with new status updates and news from your various social networks like Twitter and Facebook, staying in touch has never been easier.
In all the Nokia X6 has all the right elements to put together a good Smartphone package, and they have done so with this model, there enough focus on social networking, messaging and entertainment to keep you busy and with the apps and music stores you have a good supply of new features to play with. You can't really go wrong with the Nokia X6!
